Job Description

  • 212 Beds covered by the Hospitalist Program
  • 7-on-7-off scheduling for full-time providers
  • Physician shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
  • NPPA Shift: 11a-11p
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Employed status with benefits
  • Paid Malpractice with Tail Coverage
  • Coverage Model: 4 Physician shifts/day, 1 Physician shift at night

Physician Qualifications:

Must be IM or FM Trained and Board Certified

Facility Information

Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates delivers specialty care and 24/7 emergency care. They are a designated Level II Trauma Center. Saint Alexius is a destination for specialty care - including heart and vascular, cancer, stroke care, orthopedics and women's health. They offer a wide range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging and lab tests, a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus.

Hoffman Estates is a diverse community of nearly 55,000 located along and on both sides (north and south) of Interstate 90.
