Founder, Executive Chairman
Dr. Kip Schumacher is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who has used his knowledge of the delivery of Emergency Medicine to develop SCP Health (formerly known as Schumacher Group/Schumacher Clinical Partners). Seventeen years in the trenches of a large hospital emergency department led to the creation of our organization. He knew that with the right team and the right philosophy, we could help shape Emergency Medicine throughout the country. Dr. Schumacher is renowned for his personal commitment to excellence. His focus on high-quality patient care drives our company to respond to our clients and providers with innovative, meaningful solutions, all to make healthcare better for every patient.
Dr. Schumacher is also a national leader in policy arenas, helping shape the future of health care. He has published several articles on the leadership challenges facing the health care industry, participated on nonprofit boards dedicated to healthcare reform, and been honored as a “Hero of Emergency Medicine” by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
Enterprise Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Randy Pilgrim provides executive oversight and direction for SCP Health’s clinical programs, including systems that support clinical excellence, minimize risk, and deliver key results for patients and clinicians. He also leads SCP’s efforts in health care policy, industry relations, and advocacy to support an effective and sustainable clinical care system in the US.
Dr. Pilgrim completed medical school and residency at the University of Minnesota. He has served in emergency medicine practice and leadership roles for over 30 years and is regularly involved with health policy issues at state and federal levels. His actuarial background, analytical skills, and practical experiences combine with clinical and operational knowledge to balance patient care demands, clinicians’ needs, and key business considerations.
During four terms as Chair of the Board for the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA), he represented members that impact over half of the 155 million annual ED visits in the US, working with legislative and regulatory measures that affect quality care. He now chairs EDPMA’s Federal Health Policy Committee and has co-chaired ACEP’s Task Force on Alternative Payment Models. He serves as a faculty member for ACEP’s ED Director Academy, and has lectured with the IOM’s dissemination workshop series, “Hospital-Based Emergency Care, At the Breaking Point”.
As faculty for ACEP’s Scientific Assembly and ED Director Academy, Dr. Pilgrim speaks on a variety of topics related to hospital-based acute care and was twice honored as Speaker of the Year.
Chief Clinical Innovation Officer
Dr. Stephen Nichols is a pragmatic realist when it comes to operational improvements. He has over 30 years of experience delivering acute care in various settings and environments. His work for SCP Health focuses on helping organizations with various operational and service challenges by integrating services effectively and efficiently while maintaining the focus on the people we care for—patients and clinicians.
Dr. Nichols applies his down-to-earth style with a methodical approach to management that focuses on quality patient care while balancing provider expectations, business goals, and healthcare demands. His fundamental goal is to help organizations create spaces where employees enjoy working together and deliver the care they want their families to have if needed. He combines the experiences reported to the organization with evidence from detailed data analytics to accomplish this goal.
Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer – Emergency Medicine
Kenneth Jay Heinrich, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency program at the University of Illinois. A board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Heinrich is licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Dr. Heinrich utilizes sophisticated simulation software to model how functional changes will have on-the-ground implications in emergency departments and clinics. He has lectured at national conferences and individual hospitals nationwide on many topics, including process improvement, patient satisfaction, and implementing change.
In 2005, Dr. Heinrich published an article in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine on “Chronic Digoxin Toxicity and Significantly Elevated BNP Levels in Presence of Mild Heart Failure.” He also conducted a Case Series of ACE- Inhibitor Induced Angioedema.
Dr. Heinrich is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Illinois College of Emergency Physicians. He has also served as Medical Director at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois.

Chief – Clinical Centers of Excellence
Rodolphe “Rudy” Taby is a physician leader and hospital medicine specialist. Having graduated from Saint Joseph University School of Medicine, and after completing residency training at East Tennessee State University and a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Taby has worked across several health care systems, including for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In his various roles, Dr. Taby has held several medical staff and administrative leadership appointments, including Department Chair, Chief Hospitalist and Medical Director.
With a focus on Hospital Medicine productivity and quality optimization, Dr. Taby has acquired considerable experience in overseeing acute care programs along with startup initiation.
An avid outdoorsman, Rudy spends his free time hiking and cycling the Sonoran desert trails of his home state of Arizona.
Executive Vice President, Clinical Quality Officer
Kate Koplan, MD, MPH, brings extensive experience in clinical quality, patient safety, and health care transformation to her role as Executive Vice President and Clinical Quality Officer at SCP Health. As a visionary physician leader, she oversees clinical quality for all SCP Health service lines, including emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, and value-based programs.
Prior to joining SCP Health, Dr. Koplan served as Chief Quality Officer and Associate Medical Director at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group of Kaiser Permanente Georgia, where she led quality and safety strategy for a large multispecialty medical group. Her accomplishments include achieving best-in-state Medicare Stars ratings and implementing innovative programs that significantly improved patient care and outcomes. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Atrius Health and Harvard Vanguard in Boston, where she designed and implemented successful value-based performance programs.
A board-certified internist, Dr. Koplan earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Emory University Schools of Medicine and Public Health, completed her residency at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and received a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Certified Patient Safety Professional (CPPS) and remains active in clinical practice.
Senior Vice President & Division Medical Officer
Brian Christopher Dawson, MD, MBA, received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he also completed his Emergency Medicine Residency. Dr. Dawson also completed an MBA at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
A board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Dawson is licensed in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, and Colorado. He has served as a Medical Director, Regional Director, and Vice President of physician groups. In addition, he has served as a hospital board member, Chief of Staff, and Chairman of the Hospital Board Quality Committee.
Dr. Dawson has experience in process improvement projects with hospitals, private companies, and physician groups. He has participated in and led several LEAN initiatives, in addition to helping create award-winning IT and care coordination solutions. He has a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, creating value for patients, providers, and hospitals. Recently, Dr. Dawson served as a market chief medical officer for a large non-profit health care system, where he was responsible for several hospitals, including the level one trauma center, and served as the system transfer center medical director.
Dr. Dawson lives in eastern Tennessee, in the Appalachian Mountains, with his wife, a practicing family medicine physician, and their two sons. His personal interests include general aviation, endurance sports, and literature.
Senior Vice President & Division Medical Officer
Dr. Andrew Core is a Senior Vice President and Division Medical Officer for the hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care divisions of SCP Health. In his role, Dr. Core leads a team of dedicated clinical and operational experts and is committed to exceptional patient care delivery and solving critical challenges in the healthcare industry.
Dr. Core’s primary focus is enhancing clinical quality by reducing provider variability and optimizing operational efficiency. He believes empowering medical directors and implementing robust care systems can achieve outstanding performance management outcomes. Effective provider productivity management and team-based care strategies implementation have led to remarkable outcomes, including better patient experiences, lower mortality rates, decreased readmissions, and shorter hospital stays.
Before joining SCP, Dr. Core held diverse roles in managing acute medicine programs, with achievements including unifying performance across multiple hospital sites, launching numerous new programs and services, and enhancing patient outcomes in travel roles to stabilize new and stressed inpatient medicine programs.
Dr. Core earned his medical degree at the National University of Ireland and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Mercy, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Subspeciality Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in Administration and Management. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland and American College of Physicians. In addition, Dr. Core holds a master’s degree in business administration specializing in healthcare. He is also a Certified Physician Executive.
Senior Vice President of NP/PA Services
Jill Hunt, a native New Yorker, brings over 30 years of management and 15 years of health care experience to her role at SCP Health. She began her career in the hospitality industry before pursuing a medical career as a physician assistant. After completing her medical education at Pace University and clinical training at Lenox Hill Hospital, Hunt moved into a leadership role at Garnet Health Medical Center as the Lead Physician Assistant.
When her facility partnered with SCP Health, then Schumacher Clinical Partners, Hunt was allowed to move into the role of NP/PA Director and became responsible for all aspects of NP/PA practice nationwide, including scope of practice, collaboration, and continued development of NP/PAs.
In her current role as Senior Vice President of NP/PA services, Hunt develops and executes policies, procedures, and operational goals for the NP/PA population across all service lines, including emergency, hospital, critical care medicine, and virtual health services. Additionally, she oversees these clinicians’ advocacy and growth through increased scope of practice and utilization.
In 2021, Hunt received her master’s degree from Pace University. She continues contributing to new clinician education as a professor of Physician Assistant Studies at Touro Medical College. In her off-hours, Hunt enjoys spending time with her family and is a dedicated fan of the NFL.
Senior Vice President and Regional Medical Officer
Dr. Michael Peebles received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA, receiving the Chief Resident and the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association Clinical Excellence Award.
Leading into his role as Senior Vice President and Group Medical Officer, Dr. Peebles served as the Regional Medical Officer for Lafayette General Health System and Emergency Medicine Medical Director for Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC) in Lafayette, LA.
While serving as Regional Medical Officer, Dr. Peebles created a Physician Leadership Council, which included 10 hospitals, 18 Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine Medical Directors, and 5 Lead Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for the health system. The council’s goal was to make transitions of care seamless for both patients and clinicians.
Under his Medical Director’s leadership, the LGMC Emergency Department grew from 24 beds to 47 beds, adding at least 1,300 more patients a month, and achieved certification as a Level II Trauma Center. Dr. Peebles’ dedication to bettering healthcare earned him the SCP Health Excellence in Leadership Award in 2017.
Regional Medical Officer
Dr. Claire Smith is a Regional Medical Officer with SCP Health, providing strategic and operational leadership across hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care programs. She partners with health system executives and physician leaders to strengthen clinical operations, quality outcomes, physician engagement, and patient experience — from critical access hospitals to tertiary referral centers with 500+ beds. Over her career she has led more than a dozen program transitions and strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on helping organizations navigate change through innovations like ambient AI, virtual provider integration, and digital workflow solutions that reduce clinician burden while preserving the human side of medicine.
Raised in a small town in northeast Missouri, Dr. Smith completed the accelerated BA/MD program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and her Internal Medicine residency through the University of Missouri, training at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, the Missouri Transplant Center, and University Health, a Level I Trauma Center. After beginning her career in private practice hospital and outpatient medicine, she joined SCP Health as a hospitalist and Medical Director at a rural Missouri hospital, advancing to her current role as Regional Medical Officer. She is an advocate for physician leadership, mentoring physician leaders and fostering practice environments where clinicians and advanced practice providers can thrive.
In recognition of her leadership and commitment to excellence, Dr. Smith received SCP Health’s Above and Beyond Award in 2026, one of the organization’s highest honors recognizing exceptional leadership, service, and organizational impact. She is also a member of the Osler Society, reflecting her commitment to professionalism, lifelong learning, and the enduring principles of compassionate, patient-centered medicine.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Smith is a devoted wife and mother of four. She enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new cultures, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with a good book on the beach. She is also passionate about mentoring and encouraging women as they navigate personal and professional challenges, believing that investing in others is one of the most meaningful ways to create lasting impact.

Senior Vice President & Regional Medical Officer III
Jason Waller, DO, serves as Regional Medical Officer with SCP Health, bringing over 20 years of clinical expertise in emergency medicine and more than a decade of leadership experience in health care management. His extensive career reflects a deep commitment to advancing patient care, operational efficiency, and emergency department excellence.
Throughout his career, Dr. Waller has held numerous leadership roles, including Emergency Department Medical Director at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi, where he has been in practice for more than two decades. A champion of quality improvement and patient experience, his work has included leading process improvements to enhance emergency department efficiency as well as serving on key committees such as the Patient Experience Committee and Trauma Committee.
Dr. Waller’s dedication extends beyond clinical roles, with an emphasis on building strong professional relationships and fostering collaborative care environments. His contributions are instrumental in advancing innovative health care solutions and ensuring high standards of patient care across the organizations he serves.
Dr. Waller earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, graduating summa cum laude. He completed his residency in Family Practice at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized with the Howard G. Vigrass, MD, Award for Resident of the Year. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Waller earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
Senior Vice President & Regional Medical Officer III
Phillip Chapa, MD, FACEP, is a Senior Vice President and RMO III at SCP Health. With more than twenty years of experience in emergency medicine and health care leadership, Dr. Chapa is known for advancing patient care and driving operational excellence across diverse health care systems.
Dr. Chapa has held numerous leadership roles, shaping emergency medicine and clinical operations. As Medical Director, Physician Champion, and Chair for various emergency services, stroke centers, and trauma programs, he has developed protocols to improve patient outcomes. His contributions include advancing sepsis protocols, formalizing stroke care, and streamlining emergency department workflows to enhance care quality and efficiency.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Chapa also holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support as an instructor, as well as in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He has contributed to advancing the field as a member of various committees, including the Clinical Leadership Council and Telemedicine Committee with SCP Health, where he continues to influence policy and best practices.
Dr. Chapa earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude, from Midwestern State University, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Ravi Masih, MD, FACP, serves as Regional Medical Officer with SCP Health, bringing over 20 years of expertise in hospital-based medicine and emergency care. His comprehensive experience spans clinical practice, operations management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Throughout his career, Dr. Masih has demonstrated exceptional leadership in hospital operations and patient care optimization. He served as Emergency Department Medical Director for a decade before advancing to his current role as Regional Medical Officer, where he has guided practice groups through numerous process improvement projects and certification efforts. His commitment to excellence in health care delivery is evidenced by his extensive committee service, including over 10 years on hospital medical executive committees and multiple leadership positions as Chair of Peer Review at various hospitals.
Within SCP Health, Dr. Masih has co-chaired the EM-HM Integration Committee and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Patient Experience Committee, where he continues to advance initiatives focused on enhancing patient throughput and quality improvement. His dedication to operational excellence and collaborative leadership makes him a valuable asset in advancing health care delivery standards.
Dr. Masih earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, and completed his internal medicine residency at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he served as Chief Resident. A board-certified physician and Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Masih maintains active licensure in Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, and West Virginia, reflecting his broad clinical expertise in both emergency medicine and hospital medicine.
Dr. Masih continues his clinical practice in Florida, maintaining his connection to direct patient care while fulfilling his leadership responsibilities.
Senior Vice President & Regional Medical Officer III
Raymond Fleischer, MD, brings a wealth of experience as a physician leader, executive, and clinician to his role as Senior Vice President and Regional Medical Officer at SCP Health. His career is marked by a deep commitment to improving the quality, affordability, and efficiency of care delivery through strategic management and clinical expertise.
Dr. Fleischer has held key leadership positions with a large number of hospital systems throughout his career, including Chief Medical Officer and board member for a large private practice hospitalist group, where he advanced business infrastructure and strategy. In his prior roles, he also managed physicians across multiple service lines, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care. His vision was pivotal in managing value-based care contracts, directing clinical performance, and developing innovative provider compensation and training programs.
Dr. Fleischer’s leadership extends to hospital governance, having served as Chief of Staff while leading the Medical Executive Committee and providing oversight for the medical staff. His expertise includes population health initiatives, process improvement, and the management of physician groups across the care continuum. His dedication to mentorship and education is demonstrated through his work in developing training programs for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical directors.
Dr. Fleischer earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he was also selected to serve as Chief Resident. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Senior Vice President & Regional Medical Officer III
Tressa Gardner, DO, serves as Regional Medical Officer III at SCP Health, bringing a distinguished background in emergency medicine and hospital operations. Her career reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, clinician leadership development, and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Dr. Gardner earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her emergency medicine residency at McLaren Oakland in her hometown of Pontiac, Michigan.
Throughout her career, Dr. Gardner has demonstrated exceptional leadership across both entrepreneurial and health system settings. She founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of her own company for 15 years, overseeing the management of 11 emergency departments across Michigan. In this role, she partnered with four hospital systems to provide strategic oversight, operational leadership, and clinical excellence in emergency care delivery. She later transitioned into a leadership role within one of the largest hospital systems in Michigan, where she helped develop and strengthen the organization’s emergency medicine system. Her work centered on operational optimization, clinician leadership development, and the implementation of standardized clinical and workflow processes to improve efficiency, quality of care, and patient outcomes across multiple facilities.
Widely recognized for her ability to integrate frontline clinical expertise with system-level strategy, Dr. Gardner is passionate about building high-performing teams, advancing emergency medicine operations, and creating sustainable solutions within complex health care environments. She holds active medical licenses in Michigan, Florida, Indiana, and Ohio, continues to practice emergency medicine in both Michigan and Florida and is also board-certified in addiction medicine.
Chief Executive Officer
Rich D’Amaro, a veteran of the healthcare industry, is responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of SCP Health. Previously, he presided as Founder and Partner Emeritus of Subsidium Healthcare, LLC, an Atlanta-based healthcare consulting firm that he began in 2001. D’Amaro served in various capacities for 22 years with industry powerhouse KPMG LLP, including roles as a member of the firm’s Management Committee, National Managing Partner for the healthcare practice, and Chairman of the International Practice.
After leaving KPMG, D’Amaro was Chairman of two successful healthcare technology companies. In 2005, he merged Subsidium into Tatum, LLC, and became Chairman and CEO. He led Tatum for five years and exited after a successful sale to SFN group in 2010. His commitment to healthcare has included board leadership roles in the Alzheimer’s Association, Health Care Georgia Foundation, Vanderbilt University Technology Corporation, and St. Joseph’s Mercy Care. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Fulcrum Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Atlanta, and Enduracare Acute Services, LLC.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Rob Reilly is an accomplished operating executive with more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry. Rob has expertise in operations, sales and marketing, strategy, and finance, as well as a proven ability to develop and execute business strategies and lead large organizations at scale.
Rob joined SCP Health in 2020 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President in 2024. In his position, Rob is responsible for leading SCP’s 500+ physician practices and supporting operating teams focused on delivering exceptional care for almost 10 million patients annually.
Before SCP Health, Rob spent 28 years with GE. He worked in multiple GE businesses across North America, Europe, and Asia during his GE career. For 20 years, Reilly held diverse leadership responsibilities at GE Healthcare, helping navigate the business through the rapidly transforming healthcare industry. He led the charge transitioning from a transactional product to a solution focus, leading commercial strategy, driving operational performance, and helping shape health policy. At GE Healthcare, Rob held multiple leadership roles, including CFO, VP- Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, and President- Services.
Reilly is a 1993 graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a degree in Business Administration. He has been active in the Health Management Academy and as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He previously served as the Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Metro Milwaukee and led the Greater Milwaukee United Way Campaign.
Chief Financial Officer
Rena Cottam brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, and tax, including 23 years in business leadership and healthcare. As chief financial officer, she directs SCP Health’s overall financial strategy, including accounting, corporate and operational finance, investor relations, managed care, and revenue cycle.
Cottam joined the company in 2001 and has held various positions, including Corporate Controller, VP of Finance, and Chief Accounting Officer. Previously, she served four years as SCP’s Chief Accounting Officer, leading corporate development, including a capital restructuring and integration of two large acquisitions. Additionally, Cottam sat on the board of SCP’s captive insurance companies and led the company’s accounting adoption of Sarbanes-Oxley.
General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Sarah Crass’s legal career spans over 25 years, leading to her current roles as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of SCP Health. Before SCP Health, she served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Senior Vice President of Hospital Physician Partners (HPP). Before then, Crass was a shareholder in a law firm, where she practiced complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts and assisted companies with general corporate and contractual issues.
Crass is admitted to the state bars of Florida (active), New York, New Jersey, Oregon and Washington. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, and the Health Care Compliance Association. Crass received her Juris Doctor degree from the Boston University School of Law in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 1995.
President, Hospital Operations
Jim Guidry’s healthcare leadership and management experience includes over 30 years of success in the operation of medical practices in emergency, hospital medicine, critical care, urgent care, occupational medicine, and primary care. His background includes extensive national experience working closely with patient care delivery leaders, hospital C-suite executives, and business management professionals in the pursuit and maintenance of high quality, productive, and cost-effective medical practices. He is experienced in the development and deployment of operational and fiscal management systems and structures in multi-state and multi-site settings, including the management of operations in academic, for-profit and community not-for-profit hospital environments. Strategic planning, physician recruiting, human resources, fiscal management, sales and marketing, medical billing, managed care contracting, performance optimization, and billing and accounts receivable management are but a few of the core competencies he provides through his role at SCP Health.
Guidry’s educational background includes completion of his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Louisiana, with extensive graduate-level studies in Healthcare Administration at The Ohio State University. He is a master-level graduate of Rapport Leadership International.
Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer
Lisa Fry has over 25 years of experience in the health care and health management industry. She began her career in the insurance industry and transitioned into management consulting at KPMG LLP in the National Healthcare Strategy Practice. Following KPMG, she held executive management roles for 12 years at Kaiser Permanente. She was also a member of the founding executive team of Aviva Health and led the sales function for the health plan line of business for WebMD Health Services.
At SCP Health, Fry is responsible for our value-based programs and all non-hospital-based service lines, including Connected Care Solutions, Hospital-at-Home, and our value-based programs with health plans and risk-bearing organizations. Throughout her career, Fry’s primary areas of focus have been on driving revenue growth for client organizations and supporting clients in combining financial and clinical data with population-based health information to create superior health outcomes and enhanced value from health care services. Fry holds a Master of Management in finance and management strategy from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University.
Chief Growth Officer
Kenneth Cerney brings decades of experience in commercial operations, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth across leading health care organizations. In his role at SCP Health, Cerney leads growth initiatives to expand the company’s reach, develop new client partnerships, and support more patients nationwide.
Before joining SCP Health, Cerney served as Vice President and Head of Commercial Operations for Health Systems at Labcorp, where he developed health system strategies that drove exponential growth and secured major national partnerships. Prior to that, he was CEO of Manhattan Laboratories, where he successfully repositioned the company, expanding its regional presence and significantly growing its anatomic pathology footprint.
Cerney’s career is marked by a strong track record of commercial excellence and innovation. He founded and served as President of Strand Diagnostics, where he successfully launched the know error® system—transforming a molecular diagnostics startup from inception into a thriving, high-impact business. His earlier leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics and Per-Se Technologies further demonstrate his expertise in driving transformation and building lasting partnerships with health systems.
Throughout his career, Cerney has orchestrated strategic alliance frameworks, integrated services, and launched new technologies in clinical settings. He has served as Board Advisor to Prenosis and held advisory board positions with Paige AI, Strand Diagnostics, and hc1. Cerney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Muhlenberg College.
Chief Revenue Officer
Keith Cantrell joined SCP Health in 2012 and is a seasoned executive leader in the healthcare industry with over 25 years of revenue cycle experience. In his role as Chief Revenue Officer, he is responsible for revenue operations across all service lines and taking innovative strategies to reality that support SCP’s business objectives. Under Cantrell’s leadership, SCP’s revenue cycle has become a leading practice operation that manages the revenue associated with 10 million annual patient encounters for our 7,500 providers. Cantrell puts a great deal of emphasis on developing people and leveraging technology to drive positive outcomes.
Before joining SCP, Cantrell held leadership positions at EmCare, Deloitte Consulting, KPMG, and Arthur Andersen. Cantrell has a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Southwest Texas State University and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University.
Chief Information Officer
Victoria brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, driving innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. With a profound understanding of the dynamic healthcare landscape, Romero is dedicated to leveraging advanced IT solutions to support the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centric care.
Romero joined the company in 2006 and has held progressively responsible positions in management and senior leadership, culminating in her most recent role as SVP of Information Technology, where she played a lead role in IT product development and managing the technology component for integrating two large corporate acquisitions. She has successfully led numerous large-scale IT initiatives, including developing a proprietary Artificial Intelligence application, cybersecurity enhancements, and the development of patient care platforms. Under Romero’s leadership, SCP Health significantly improved data interoperability, patient data security, and IT infrastructure.
Before joining SCP Health, Romero was a web application programmer with Acadian Ambulance and a financial programmer for the global company Stuller Settings.
Additionally, Romero is a board member of United Way of Acadiana, a strong advocate for servicing the community, a guest lecturer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a recipient of Acadiana’s “20 Under 40” Leadership Award. Romero has a Bachelor of Science in Business Systems Analysis and Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
President, CS Partners
Leanne Landreneau, a native of South Texas, brings 17 years of experience in emergency medicine operations to the SCP Health team. After finishing her MHA training at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she studied emergency department utilization and practice patterns, she joined SCP and the rapidly growing emergency medicine service line.
Landreneau has held a variety of leadership roles throughout her SCP career. With extensive experience in direct practice management and client service, she understands the full range of challenges that must be addressed to stabilize and improve local practices successfully. In her current role as Executive Vice President of Emergency Medicine Operations, she is responsible for the overall success of the emergency medicine service line, focusing on client service quality, service model development, and staffing performance.
As a key player in the SCP partnerships, Landreneau is proud to serve deserving communities’ acute health care needs.
Landreneau received her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Texas State and currently resides in Houston. She is based out of the corporate office in Atlanta, GA.
