  • 93 hospital beds
  • Physicians round daily (7a-7p)
  • Hospitalists round on ICU
  • 8 bed ICU
  • Procedures preferred but not required
  • Hospitalists responsible for Vent management
  • Hospitalists respond to codes during the day
  • EMR: MedHost
Additional Information
  • $60k commencement bonus for a 2 year contract
  • Full-time physicians are employed with benefits
  • Candidates can be Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained
  • This program is home to an Internal Medicine Residency program

Facility Information

Northeast Regional Medical is the only level III Trauma Center in the region with a staff of 517 healthcare professionals. This hospital is a fully certified chest pain center with a helipad available for critical air ambulance transfers if necessary.
Community Information
Kirksville is a city in Adair County, Missouri. The town is home to two colleges: Trauman State University and A.T. Still University. Kirksville is a family-oriented community featuring affordable real estate, a low cost of living, private and public schools, and plenty of recreational opportunities.
