Job Description

  • 14K annual ED volume
  • 70 hospital beds
  • 24 hour physician coverage
  • 12 hour shifts
  • ABEM/ABEOM, IM or FP?with ER experience
  • BE/BC-must be certified within 7 years of completing residency
  • History of taking ATLS required. If not EM Boarded, requires ACLS
  • Moonlighting residents-no

LewisGale?Hospital Alleghany serves patients in both Virginia and West Virginia. The hospital offers a full range of medical specialties ? from emergency medicine to general surgery. It is also home to the Senior Transitions program ? a 15-bed specialty unit for seniors with emotional and behavioral issues requiring short-term acute stabilization.LewisGale Hospital Alleghany is part of LewisGale Regional Health System ? an integrated network of closely aligned patient-care facilities that consistently rank among the top in the nation for patient care.
