Meet Randy Pilgrim, MD
An emergency physician for over 30 years, Randy Pilgrim, MD, FACEP, FAAFP, has served in numerous clinical and executive leadership roles, and now actively advocates for federal and public policy issues that affect hospital-based acute care. Deeply committed to clinician development, he also dedicates significant time to teaching and training the next generation of emergency medicine clinicians.
An award-winning speaker and four-term Chair of EDPMA’s Board of Directors, Dr. Pilgrim serves as SCP’s Enterprise Chief Medical Officer. He impacts health policy nationwide by chairing EDPMA’s Federal Health Policy Committee and by serving on the ACEP Federal Government Affairs Committee. He has led significant efforts in value0based care, combining strategic vision with a deeply personal commitment to health care improvement. Dr. Pilgrim brings both expertise and humanity to all of his leadership roles.
