Job Description

  • 167 hospital beds
  • Daily census: 42-45
  • 7 on/7 off block schedule for full-time
  • Two physicians rounding daily (7a-7p)
  • In-house Nocturnist (7p-7a); and will cover ICU
  • Two NP/PA shifts per day
  • Closed ICU?ICU covered by Intensivist
  • No procedures required, however intubation / central line procedures encouraged
  • Must run codes with EM back up at night; ICU back up during day shift
  • EMR: Epic

Additional Information

  • Full-time physicians are employed with benefits
  • $30K commencement bonus plus $30K retention bonus for 24 month commitment
  • Day position available $300+ annually plus benefits
  • Competitive Medical Director Stipend
  • Paid malpractice and tail

Facility Information

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital is a full-service community hospital offering healthcare services since 1907. The hospital offers a dedicated inpatient pediatric unit, wound and outpatient treatment centers, orthopedic care, cancer care and more. This hospital was renovated in 2014 into a state-of-the-art facility which was built focusing on patient safety and improving healing environments.
