Job Description

  • 8-bed micro-hospital
  • 9,125 annual ED volume
  • 24-hour physician coverage
  • 12 or 24-hour shifts (6 a.m.-6 p.m.; 6 p.m.-6 a.m.)

CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is part of CHRISTUS Health, a not-for-profit system made up of outpatient and long-term care facilities, community hospitals, walk-in clinics and health ministries. CHRISTUS Bossier Emergency Hospital is a "micro-hospital" the first of its kind in the state of Louisiana. Offering 24/7 emergency care, short-stay inpatient beds, and advanced imaging and diagnostic lab services, the facility is staffed with top-notch medical professionals committed to treating and healing the residents of this region.

Bossier City is located on the eastern bank of the Red River and is closely tied economically and socially to its larger sister city Shreveport on the opposite bank.
