  • 40K annual ED volume
  • 445-bed regional tertiary referral center
  • Named a Top 100 Heart Hospital by Solucient
  • The leading cancer center in the region
  • A full range of specialty and subspecialty support?
  • One of six Level I Trauma Centers in the state
  • 9 - 10 hour shifts
  • 48 hours physician coverage?
  • 34?hours NP/PA coverage
  • EMR: EPIC

Facility Information

Johnson Medical Center is a 421 bed Level I Trauma Center. The facility is a regional tertiary referral center and East Tennessee's leading heart and cancer center. Equipped with the technology, equipment, and staff needed to address major trauma emergencies. They also house the 37 bed Niswonger Children's Hospital.
