  • 46K annual ED volume
  • 576 hospital beds
  • 40.71-hour physician coverage
  • 12-hour NP/PA coverage
  • 37-hour scribe coverage
  • ABEM required

Facility Information

Willis-Knighton Medical Center is a tertiary care facility conveniently located west of downtown Shreveport just off interstate 20. The hospital boasts a wide range of medical services including a Cancer Center, Heart & Vascular Institute, health & fitness centers and it is home to the John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center.
Community Information
Shreveport is the third most-populous metropolitan area in the state of Louisiana. Shreveport is the educational, commercial and cultural center of the Ark-La-Tex region, where Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas meet.
