Job Description

  • 6K annual ED volume
  • 25 hospital beds
  • Newly renovated facility
  • 12 or 24-hour Physician shifts
  • NP/PA annual earning potential 100K - 125K
  • Physician Pay: $250/hr

Facility Information

Hillsboro Area Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering emergency care, inpatient care, and transitional care, as well as diagnostic imaging, laboratory, physical therapy, sleep clinic, and surgery. They have a 24-hour lab and x-ray, and MRI services. The newly-built emergency department that qualifies as a "green" (i.e. enviro-friendly) facility.

Hillsboro, Illinois offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Midwest. The area has a diversified economic base and ranks as an important center for commercial, legal, and industrial activity. Due to the large labor force, many residents commute to Springfield or St. Louis, Missouri as they are just one hour away. Hillsboro also offers an exceptional Community Unit School District, which supported the establishment of Lincoln Land Community College. Residents enjoy boating and fishing on the area's many lakes and streams, scenic hiking/biking trails, and families benefit from the well-kept community parks and nature conservation areas.
