Job Description

  • 18K annual ED volume
  • 36 hospital beds
  • 24 hours physician coverage
  • 10 hours NP/PA coverage
  • ABEM/ABEOM, IM or FP with 7 hours of ER experience
  • BE/BC-must be certified within 7 years of completing residency
  • If EM Boarded only history of taking ATLS. If not, PALS, ACLS are
    required with history of taking ATLS

  • Moonlighting residents-no

LewisGale Hospital Pulaski is a 36-bed facility staffed with highly skilled medical professionals. The hospital offers a wide range of services including emergency care, test and imaging and it is home to the LewisGale Regional Cancer Center ? ranked in the top 10% of cancer centers in the country. LewisGale Hospital Pulaski is an accredited chest pain center approved by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care.

Pulaski is a small-town in Pulaski County, Virginia. This community offers an excellent public school system, lower than national average cost of living, moderate weather and great neighborhoods. Pulaski is located 87 miles from Greensboro and 126 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina.
