Dr. Rodolphe “Rudy” Taby is a physician executive and health care strategist with expertise spanning clinical leadership, enterprise operations, and care model transformation. As Chief Medical Officer at SCP Health, Dr. Taby leads the organization’s Clinical Centers of Excellence—a strategic function responsible for developing clinical service offerings across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, NP/PA services, telehealth, and quality. His team drives clinical model innovation and best practices across service lines while playing a central role in operational strategy and development, working with health systems to design and deliver high-performing clinical programs at scale.
Dr. Taby’s ability to operate at both the macro and frontline levels, from health care system design and policy to bedside care pathways, has defined his leadership approach across large clinical organizations. His background, shaped by exposure to diverse health care systems and models, gives him a distinctive perspective on the payor-clinician-patient relationship and where the greatest opportunities for transformation lie.
Dr. Taby is a graduate of Saint Joseph University School of Medicine and completed his residency at East Tennessee State University and a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
An avid outdoorsman, Rudy spends his free time hiking and cycling the Sonoran desert trails of his home state of Arizona.
