Job Description

  • 17K annual ED volume
  • 25?hospital beds
  • General Surgery and OB/GYN is full-time. Cardiology and Urology
    are part-time. Pulmonology and Gastroenterology are office-based and
    not available to the ED.

  • Accredited by the Joint Commission
  • EMR: Epic
  • Eligible to employ J-1 waiver candidates

Physician:

  • Requirements-ABEM/ABOEM

Associate Medical Director:

  • Requirements -ABEM/ABOEM
  • 20 Hours/month administrative time heading up Trauma and EMS
  • 4k?monthly Director Stipend

Facility Information

OSF St. Francis Hospital is a 55 bed acute care facility. Being the sole community hospital for the South Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan, they provide an array of services from Cardiac Diagnostic Center, full-service rehabilitation department, on-campus dialysis center, and full-service medical imaging department with CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine. They were named a Top U.S. Hospital by the Leapfrog Group and fully accredited by The Joint Commission.

For those wanting more urban amenities, Green Bay, Wisconsin is 2 hours south while Milwaukee is 4 hours south. There is also daily flights to major, Midwestern cities.
