  • Physicians have dual Emergency Medicine/Hospitalists role
  • Specialty Support - Tele-Neurology, Respiratory, Cardiopulmonary,
    Radiology

Facility Information

Alleghany Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital serving the community of Sparta, North Carolina. The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care and a 24-hour physician staffed emergency room. Alleghany Memorial offers a newly expanded and renovated space that provides some of the finest technology and accommodations in western North Carolina. Alleghany Memorial Hospital has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with the national standards for health care quality and safety in hospitals and for safety in laboratories.
