Job Description

  • Annual Volume: 28,000
  • Beds: 14 beds
  • Provider Coverage:
    • Physicians work 7a-7p and 7p-7a
    • NPPAs work 10a-8p and 3p-1a
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Requirements: ABEM/ABOEM or ABFM with emergency medicine
    experience

  • Certifications Required (if not ABEM or ABOEM)
    • ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP (Certs needed even if ABEM or
      ABOEM)
  • Subspecialties Available: Lab services and imaging (CT and x-ray)
  • Malpractice: Claims Based/Unlimited Tail

Facility Information

STHS ER at Mission is a South Texas Health System facility with the most up-to-date technology to offer quality healthcare. The Mission ER is staffed with healthcare experts and has the same diagnostic technology available at any South Texas Health System hospital. The facility features 14 private treatment rooms, diagnostic imaging services, 24-hour lab services, on-site pharmacy, respiratory treatments and more.
