Job Description

  • 26K annual ED volume
  • 9 bed ED with 5 sub-waitings (4 recliners and 1 stretcher)
  • 24-hour physician coverage-12 hour shifts
  • 20?Hours APP Coverage- 10 hour shifts
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Subspecialty coverage: Radiology services, including X-ray, CT and
    ultrasound

Facility Information

Doctors Hospital Emergency Room Saunders is a freestanding emergency department located in central Laredo near the city?s main roads. Featuring six exam rooms, three rapid medical exam spaces, this facility offers 24-hour medical care, diagnostic laboratory and radiology services, including X-ray, CT and ultrasound.

The Texas city of Laredo, county seat of Webb County, is situated on the north bank of the Rio Grande. This town offers low cost of living, k-12 education, and it is home to Laredo Community College and Texas A&M International University. Laredo is about 135 miles west of Corpus Christi and 125 miles south of?Eagle Pass.
