Job Description

  • 115 Hospital Beds
  • Open ICU with full specialty support
  • Collegial work environment with Emergency Department managed by
    SCP

  • Average Daily Census: 55
  • Procedures are not required
  • 2 Physicians & 2 APPs from 7a-7p; 1 MD from 7p-7a
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Requirements: Annual TB, Ability to Obtain FL License & DEA,
    ACLS

  • Must be BC/BE in IM or FM & possess excellent inpatient skills
  • Competitive Commencement Bonus

Facility Information

Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and is a certified primary stroke center, dedicated to serving the Indian River and Brevard Counties since 1974. Sebastian River Hospital offers surgical services including orthopedic, sports medicine, thoracic oncology, and endovascular procedures. Additionally, the facility has received several distinctions for its quality measures, for being the best place to work, and for being among the top 100 community hospitals.
Community Information
Sebastian is located midway along the east coast of the Florida Peninsula between Melbourne and Vero Beach in an area known as the Treasure Coast offering easy access to I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. The City of Sebastian boasts beautiful parks, public and private schools just outside its limits. Additionally, Sebastian is among the few remaining Florida East Coast places maintaining a small-town feel, being a somewhat upscale community.
